In 1965 he was recruited by Yardbirds. He gain his initial popularity as the lead guitarist of the group Yardbirds. During the tenure of Jeff Beck with Yardbirds they produce many notable and hit songs including “Heart Full of Soul” and “Shapes of Things”.
